Writing a song can be very challenging, especially when you do not have the music for it yet. Today you will learn the basic elements to writing the lyrics (words) to a song.
I. Blog Question: What makes a song have great lyrics (words in the song)? Think of your favorite song and write about what makes the lyrics to the song so great.

III. Following 4 Steps on the wikispace, begin to write the song on a word file. Save your work and email to yourself so you can work on it later if you run out of time. The song is due on Monday.
Songs that have original lyrics, like lil wayne. He comes up with metaphors that people have never heard, or that are funny so they stick in peoples head.

ReplyDeleteWhat makes a good song is when you use big words or metaphors. Also when you talk about something important or very touching to people it sticks with them.

they speak the truth, they say what we think...
they put words into other words that gives us a second thought for changing what our mind set is into someting positive..
I think people that make songs about what there going threw in life makes it a good song, because sometimes your going threw the same thing and you can relate to them and that makes you like there song and them for understanding you:)
